So it has been a while and we’re already into our second month of 2017! Originally I had planned for another ‘Goals for 201_’ in January but now that we’re swinging into February I figured I may as well just continue on with my other blog posts!
So I’m always on the lookout for great deals, products and other nice random things and I figured I would share what I’ve discovered so far this year with you all.
Beauty Products / Make-Up
Moisturiser – Georgia-Jane Cool & Calm Moisturiser
Georgia-Jane is a brand which only use natural ingredients and the results show. It doesn’t smell of strong chemicals and is great for anyone with dry skin with its creamy texture and boosts the hydration in your skin, leaving you with a subtle glow. €29.oo
Primer – M.A.C Strobe Cream
M.A.C Strobe Cream isn’t essential but it is great for those who aim for the dewy look. The light cream contains a pearl-like sheen which makes your skin look lit from within leaving a beautiful glow on the skin. I couldn’t find a price for a full size bottle but they are selling tester products for €10.
Foundation – Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation
For anyone that like a natural look, this foundation is absolutely perfect. It’s so light and feels weightless on the skin. It covers flaws but leaves natural pigments like freckles on your face to embrace them. However, if you’re not looking for a light covering and looking for fuller coverage then this foundation is build-able to achieve the ideal look for you. The smell is nice and fruity and not like other foundations which smell like talc. €14.99
Powder – Collection Sheer Loose Powder
Okay so this powder isn’t my favourite but it certainly does the job and it’s definitely a money saver. Other products from Collection are actually brilliant quality money savers so I had high hopes for this product! The powder is quite strong smelling but I only use it to dust the T-Zone and not much more than that. It’s around €4.50 which is quite a bargain!
Blush – Rimmel London Lasting Finish Soft Colour Mono Blush
So after buying different kinds of blush and sticking with palette blushes that are travel friendly – I finally found a travel friendly, subtle, natural blush with a great price. I have the shade 20- Pink Rose and it’s a really lovely peach pink with brown undertones that blend perfectly with foundation to leave a natural bush on your skin. I use it everyday even without contour and it still leaves the perfect colour on skin. €5.99
Contour Kit – Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour Kit
For anyone who wants the chiseled Kim Kardashian look without the budget look no further than this palette. The white is perfect for setting under-eye concealer highlight etc. and the bronzer is perfect without an orange undertone unlike many other cheap bronzers. €7.59
Highlight – Collection Highlight and Sculpt
So the bronzer isn’t my favourite but I got so many compliments about the highlight in this kit. It’s a beautiful cream colour with pink undertones that compliment the skintone and leave a gorgeous glow with a peach undertone so it blends perfectly over blush to leave your contour looking wonderfully blended out. €5.79
Eye Palette – Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette – Vintage Vamp
Okay so I’ve never been a believer in paying insane amounts of money for a four colour palette until I was given this for Christmas. Using the Charlotte Tilbury makeup tutorials online for her eye palettes, you can create so many different looks with just four colours. It wouldn’t be a wise investment buying it yourself but if you’re thinking of gift ideas then this is a good route, the eye shadows are well-pigmented and just glide over the skin to make a really blendable, buildable product. 10/10 €50
P.S Lipstick Crayon and Lip Liner in Nude are AMAZING! Well worth the price and are extremely good products. Whether you want just a matte look using the lip liner or give a full lip look by adding the crayon. (Photo from The Beautiful Bluebird)
Well I hope you enjoyed this post! I will see you all very soon.
